Giedre became interested in Chinese medicine and Energy healing through a practice of yoga and meditation, what led her on a wonderful journey to the practitioner she is today. Giedre graduated from Middlesex University, London with First Class degree in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. In 2012, during her clinical practice at Liaoning hospital of Chinese Medicine in Shenyang, China, Giedre had deepened her knowledge and practical skills with top Chinese doctors and professors. She specialised in treating neurological, muscular –skeletal and gynaecological diseases, and had clinical practice in anti-aging & cosmetology department.
In addition, Giedre completed Manual Lymphatic drainage course and was awarded with Diploma in Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Combined Decongestive Therapy from Original Dr. Vodder School in Walchsee/Austria.
Before becoming REIKI practitioner, Giedre experienced Reiki healing on herself. After the course of 6 treatments, over few months time period, she noticed many changes in her personal life, health and spiritual grow. Realising that Reiki can complement acupuncture as an additional remedy to the human energy system, Giedre completed Reiki course and provides Reiki both, combined with acupuncture and as an individual healing session.
With an extensive post graduate studies, particularly in gynaecology, immunology and lymphatic system, Giedre believes that combination of Western & Eastern Medicine, correct diet and lifestyle can heal and balance the body, cure and prevent many diseases.
Giedre is covered by professional indemnity insurance and bound by a strict code of professional conduct, ethics and safe practice.
